Nearly 300 Overland Park Retirees to Celebrate Fitness at May 11 Outdoor Games at Tallgrass Creek

WHAT:

An Outdoor Games celebration of individual fitness by nearly 300 residents of Tallgrass Creek retirement community in Overland Park, Kansas. Residents will play Bocce, golf, ladder ball, washers, Frisbee toss, and bean bag toss. The games will kick-off with a Pep Rally-style vocal performance by the Tallgrass Creek Chorale. The games are being organized by a resident-run Wellness Committee that formed a Walking Club that walks the Tallgrass Creek campus’ 65 acres Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

High School Students and Retirees Find Common Ground on Dance Floor at Tallgrass Creek

OVERLAND PARK, KS (APRIL 5, 2011) – Residents of Tallgrass Creek retirement community in Overland Park are now practicing their Electric Slide, Macarena and Booty Call dance moves. They are doing this to prepare for their upcoming Wednesday, April 11, nighttime Spring Fling with students from the Blue Valley North High School.
